CELEBRATING CJ MUSTON

After serving faithfully as our Student Minister, CJ Muston will be leaving FCC, and while we are excited to see what God has in store for CJ and his family, we are certainly going to miss them!

Please join us for a come-and-go farewell celebration for CJ on Sunday, August 23, from 2:30–4:30 PM in the FLC Gym. Come anytime during the afternoon to share a hug, a few memories, and let CJ know just how much he and his family mean to our church family.

There is also a basket at the Welcome Desk where you can leave a card or letter of encouragement for CJ. A handwritten note would be a special way to let him know how much his ministry, friendship, and investment in our students have meant to so many.

We are incredibly grateful for the time CJ has spent with us and for the lives he has touched along the way. We will miss him and his family more than words can say, but we are praying for God’s continued guidance and blessings as they begin this next chapter.

Please come help us celebrate CJ, thank him for all he has done, and send him and his family off with lots of love and encouragement!

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Come join us for a new Women's Bible Study beginning Tuesday, August 25! We will gather every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Room 109, continuing through October 6.

Together we'll explore the comfort, hope, and encouragement found in Psalm 23 through a study by Jennifer Rothschild, led by Wilma Grayless. Whether you're new to Bible study or have been attending for years, you'll find a welcoming place to grow in faith and fellowship.

The study book is $20.

We'd love to have you join us!

VBS SERVICE GROUP

Join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month (August–November), 2:00–8:00 PM as we create decorations for VBS 2027! Our first workday is Tuesday, August 25.

No experience is needed—come for an hour or stay all day. All ages are welcome! Bring a snack to share if you'd like, and enjoy a fun time of creativity and fellowship as we prepare for an amazing VBS.

OCC AUGUST COLLECTIONS

As we prepare for our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on November 6, we will be collecting clothing donations throughout the month of August.

Donations may be placed in the collection box located next to the Library or dropped off at the Church Office.

Needed items include:

• Clothing
• Shoes
• Socks
• Underwear
• Hair accessories

KIDS BAPTISM CLASS

Has your child been asking about baptism? If you want to help them understand what baptism means and walk through this important step alongside a minister, this class is for you.

Parents and students are invited to join Jon Rhoades on Sunday mornings beginning September 6 at 9:45 a.m. as you explore the meaning of baptism together and prepare for this significant milestone in your child's faith journey. MISSION TRIP MEETING

Have you ever been curious about going on a mission trip or wondered what it's really like? Join us for an informational meeting on Sunday, September 20, at 2:00 PM in Room 109 to learn more about our upcoming July 15, 2028, mission trip to Honduras.

There is no commitment to attend the meeting or go on the trip. This is simply an opportunity to hear what a mission trip involves, ask questions, and prayerfully consider whether God may be calling you to serve. If you're even a little curious, we'd love for you to join us!
