MomCo KICKOFF

MomCo’s first meeting is Thursday, August 6!

MomCo is a Christ-centered community for moms with children of all ages to find friendship, encouragement, and support. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month, and we want all moms to know that they are welcome and invited into our meetings! We’re also seeking Mentor Moms (women whose children are grown), childcare volunteers, and individuals or groups willing to provide a meal for a monthly meeting.

If you’d like to participate as a mom or serve in one of these important roles, please contact the church office or Danielle Duregger at 812-249-9304.

CHURCH PICNIC

Join us for our Church Picnic on Sunday, August 9, immediately following the second service!
 

The church and our Food Ministry will be providing a delicious meal, and everyone is welcome. We hope you'll stay and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun with our church family.

WORSHIP UNCOILED KICKOFF

Worship Uncoiled and open gym is back on Sunday nights starting August 9th. Open gym is back for student from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday nights followed by Worship Uncoiled with a meal at 6:00 pm and a student service until 8:00 pm.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Come join us for a new Women's Bible Study beginning Tuesday, August 25! We will gather every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Room 109, continuing through October 6.

Together we'll explore the comfort, hope, and encouragement found in Psalm 23 through a study by Jennifer Rothschild, led by Wilma Grayless. Whether you're new to Bible study or have been attending for years, you'll find a welcoming place to grow in faith and fellowship.

The study book is $20.

SEWING SEAMS OF HOPE

Join Sewing Seams of Hope Aug. 17-20, from 6:00–8:30pm in Room 109! This special ministry creates diapers and clothing items that are shared around the world. Everyone is welcome—come lend a hand and be part of making a meaningful difference.

VBS SERVICE GROUP

Join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month (August–November), 2:00–8:00 PM as we create decorations for VBS 2027! Our first workday is Tuesday, August 25.

No experience is needed—come for an hour or stay all day. All ages are welcome! Bring a snack to share if you'd like, and enjoy a fun time of creativity and fellowship as we prepare for an amazing VBS.

OCC AUGUST COLLECTIONS

As we prepare for our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on November 6, we will be collecting clothing donations throughout the month of August.

Donations may be placed in the collection box located next to the Library or dropped off at the Church Office.

Needed items include:

• Clothing
• Shoes
• Socks
• Underwear
• Hair accessories
