OCC SEPTEMBER COLLECTIONS

Our Operation Christmas Child preparations are underway, and our goal this year is to pack more than 225 boxes.

Starting in September, we’ll be collecting games, toys, gloves, scarves, and hats to help fill our boxes.

Our Amazon Wishlist is available for easy ordering. Wishlist items ship directly to the church, and the quantities listed reflect what we currently need.

You can also donate $10 to help cover the shipping cost for a box.

Join us for our packing party on November 6 at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome, and we’ll need plenty of help to reach our goal of 225+ boxes.

Every box represents an opportunity to provide a child with a gift and let them know they are remembered.

STUDENT MINISTRY BOWLING NIGHT

Students in 6th–12th grade only are invited to join us for a fun night of bowling on Sunday, September 27, from 5–7 pm!

Drop-off and pick-up will be at the church, and Jon Rhoades will be leading the group. The cost is $10 per student. To get accurate numbers and reserve lanes, please RSVP to Jon by next Sunday with the number of students who plan to go and whether any parents would like to chaperone.

MOMCO MEETING

MomCo’s next meeting is Thursday, October 1, at 6:00 PM! MomCo is a welcoming place for moms to connect, grow in faith, and encourage one another through a monthly meal, devotion, conversation, and fun activity. Childcare is available, and we’re looking for church family volunteers to help care for the children. Whether you’re a mom or would like to volunteer, we’d love to have you join us!

KIDS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Be Part of Our Kids Christmas Program!

We’re excited to invite kids ages 3 through 5th grade to be part of our Kids Christmas Program! Whether your child loves to sing, enjoys being on stage, or would like a speaking role, there’s a place for them!

Practices: Sundays, 9:45–10:30 AM in the Family Life Center
First Practice: October 18
Performance: Sunday, December 20 at 10:30 AM, between the 1st and 2nd services

COUNTRY DAY

Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship at Country Day on Sunday, October 25! The festivities begin at 5:00 PM with a delicious Chili Cook-Off, followed by a Variety Show filled with laughter, music, and entertainment featuring the talents of our FCC family.

Do you have a song, skit, talent, or some good jokes to share? We’d love for you to be part of the show! A sign-up sheet is available at the Welcome Desk, or you can see Joe Milner or Dan Stribling for more information.

VBS SERVICE GROUP

Join us on the 4th Tuesday of each month (August–November), 2:00–8:00 PM as we create decorations for VBS 2027! Our next workday is Tuesday, September 22.

No experience is needed—come for an hour or stay all day. All ages are welcome! Bring a snack to share if you'd like, and enjoy a fun time of creativity and fellowship as we prepare for an amazing VBS.
